NFD CONTRACTS PROJECT DETAILS
I was approached by Niall from NFD Contracts to create a logo for his business. It was important to create a clean cut and effective brand image for this type of business. By keeping things simple and to the point, we created a beautiful and functional logo. I wanted to create a unique and visually appealing brand identity for NFD Contracts. Too often we see a white van with a chunky cartoon image of joiners and carpenters with "NO JOB TOO BIG OR SMALL!" in big, hideous lettering. We wanted to avoid this common mistake when it comes to advertising your services.
Image is very important and when it comes to your business, it is especially important. Niall gave me some insight into the business and it was clear to me that he is a high quality and efficient carpenter. We needed to reflect that in his brand identity. Keeping it simple does not devalue your business or brand. I do believe that less is more and a 'clean' style will always be appealing when it comes to Graphic Design. Look at the most famous of brands/logos and you will notice they all have this in common, they are simple!
